Hey guys!!! Hope you're having a good week so far!! At least its Wednesday!! It's rather gloomy here today so I thought I would do a fun and bright spring makeup look!
For primers I used Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Colour Correcting primer. It's a green primer so it helps to neutralize some redness I have on my face and helps my makeup last all day long.
Foundation: L'Oreal True Match Lumi in W1-2 Porcelain/Light Ivory. I'm pale as a ghost right now and this foundation matches me perfectly since I am that in between shade between porcelain and ivory, and it also gives my skin a nice glow.
Concealer: L'Oreal True Match in W1-2-3 Warm-Fair/Light. The whole True Match line from L'Oreal is great so I couldn't go wrong in using this concealer.
Contour: I used my 15 pc concealer palette that I bought off Amazon. It doesn't have any brand name but it works great. I use a BeautyBlender to blend it out and into my skin
Powder: Essence Cosmetics All About Matt! Translucent setting powder.
Blush: Hard Candy's Fox in a Box in Truth or Dare. Great pink everyday blush.
Highlight: Essence Cosmetics Bloom me Up shimmer powder in Rose It Up. Great highlighter that gives your skin a natural flawless glow.
Brows: Covergirl Brow & Eye Makers in Soft Blonde
Eyes: Bronzer in crease to define the eye
E.L.F Cosmetics baked eyeshadow in Enchanted
Covergirl Ink It! eyeliner in Aquamarine Ink
Benefit They're Real mascara
Lips: Wet n' Wild Lipstick in 24 Carrot Gold.
Hope you guys liked this post and look for Friday's post!! I'm super excited about it!!

Favourite Pink Lipsticks-Spring Edition
Hey everyone!!
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I just wanted to put together a quick post and share my favourite pink lippys for spring time!
Starting with the NYX lipsticks. First is called Baby Pink and is a very sheer pink/lilac colour. It's a great colour for just adding a little bit of pop to your lips. It's very creamy and easy to apply. Next is Strawberry Milk. It is a very light pink nude colour. It is on the edge between wearable and a little bit out there. The formula is very pigmented and creamy and feels very hydrating on the lips. It's a great lippy for those nights out.
Next we have Wet n' Wild's Cherry Picking. This is a berry pink. It's a very pigmented semi-matte lipstick. I love this lipstick because it's a shade that can work for either spring or fall. It's also a great dupe for MAC's Rebel.
Now here's one I really love, Maybelline's Colour Sensation lipstick in Hot Plum. It's that perfect "Radiant Orchid" colour that is the colour of the year. I feel like this lippy just pulls a whole look together. I like to sport it with a bold eye as well. This lippy is just spring in a bottle to me.
Next is NYC's Blue Rose. It's a bright fuchsia with a blue undertone to give your lips that pearl gloss colour. I like to wear this when I'm feeling rather bold. It's very creamy and quite pigmented.
Last is NYX's soft matte lip cream in Antwerp and Tokyo. I love these lippys. They are so pigmented and very wearable. They are so easy to apply and dry to a matte finish. Although they are very drying to the lips, I absolutely love them and they last forever!
I absolutely love spring. I love the bright colours and fashion!
I hope you guys liked this post and stay tuned for a fun makeup and hair look!
Take care! <3

Review-Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation Mousse
Hey everyone!!
Hope you all had a wonderful week!! Thank goodness for the weekend!
Today I will be sharing my review of the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation Mousse. I am in the shade Ivory. I dabbed the foundation on with my finger tips and then buffed it into my skin using a stipple brush. I also powdered my skin very lightly using a matte translucent powder.
Overall this is a good medium coverage foundation however I did have a few concerns. First off being that this foundation is not very buildable. If you applied a very thin layer it felt great on the skin but after applying more foundation in the areas that need it, the foundation felt really heavy and almost tacky, like it never properly set or settled into the skin.
The other thing that I do not like about this foundation is that it clung to dry patches on my face...which I find very astonishing since I always moisturizer before applying anything to my face and I also used a primer. It could have been that I used a powder as well overtop though....I may have to give it another trial run.
The foundation lasted a decent amount of time, however it did start to fade and rub off around the usual areas such as the nose and chin. Another thing that I did not like was the very limited colour selection. There are only about 8 shades to choose from in this collection, which I think may deter some people to purchase as they won't be able to find their exact shade. I got lucky with finding mine, although my face looks super washed out in the flash(I think it might have been the lighting.
This picture shows what the foundation looks like in flash photography...well on me anyway...I'm not that great at taking these photos.
Again I will say that overall this is a good foundation. I probably won't use it much except for those days when my skin is really behaving, but it is a good foundation to have. I also have dry to combination skin so I usually never have a problem with getting shiny throughout the day, however if you have oily skin this may be a good everyday foundation for you as it is oil free and shine free.
I hope this review helped some of you if you were thinking about purchasing this from your local drugstore.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and I will have a new post up on Monday!!
Take care! <3 Xo

~Review~ Essence Cosmetics Stay Matt Lip Cream
Hi everyone!
Hope your week is going well so far! I went to Shoppers Drug Mart recently and spotted a company by the name of Essence Cosmetics and decided to pick up a few things to try out and review for you guys! The most expensive thing was I believe $7 CAD so how could I go wrong! I was most intrigued by the Stay Matt lip cream as it looked like a dupe for NYX's Soft Matte Lip Cream so I decided to have a go.
The first thing I will say is that this formula feels exactly like NYX's. It is creamy and buttery smooth to apply. It also has the same "vanilla icing" scent(maybe it's just me). This does have very good colour payoff and is quite pigmented. However, I will say that unlike the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, this formula does not dry as quickly, if at all and it also transfers. With the NYX one you get very good wear out of one application even with eating and drinking, however this formula I believe you will be having to re-apply a lot more often.
That being said, great dupe however the transfer may present a problem for some people.
This Essence Cosmetics Stay Matt Lip Cream retails for $2.49 and is available at Shoppers Drug Mart if you are interested. Also available at www.essence.eu
I also picked up a few other Essence Cosmetics products and will be reviewing those this week along with the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation so stay tuned!!
Hope you all have a fabulous week!

Update~Trying to get back to a normal schedule
Hi everyone!!
Hope you all had a fantastic Easter and a great long weekend!!
I'm sorry I haven't been posting lately, I have just been crazy busy especially this past weekend. And being plagued with seasonal allergies isn't helping either.
I just wanted to again say that I have not forgotten about this blog and I am hoping to get back into a regular posting schedule this week.
I have a few new things that I have tried and I wanted to try some DIY projects so I will also be sharing my experience on those.
My life has been crazy busy with packing for our move, family functions, buck n does, and apartment showings. Seems I am never home much anymore even though I don't work right now. We had to say goodbye to our snakes as well this past weekend so I am a little sad but I know it is for the best.
Anyway just a short little update. I will be back on Wednesday with a new post!
Take care! Xo

Update
Hey everyone!!
I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile! Life has been super crazy lately and stressful and I just haven't been able to keep the creative juices flowing.
I am in the process of packing right now because I will be moving in about a month or so, as well as trying to figure out what to take and what to donate, paint colours etc and ordering things. I have also been really stressed in regards to job hunting. Hopefully I networked with a strong lead today, so keeping my fingers crossed!
Once things calm down a bit and I am a little bit more stable I will be posting more regularly, but I just wanted to keep you guys updated in case you think I forgot about my blog. I definitely have not but I just need some time to get life back in order. I am hoping to get back into a routine next week and post some birthday related things and maybe do my very first Vlog video. We shall see!
I love you guys and I promise I will be back with some makeup looks and fashion inspiration for spring and summer! 💋
